What are some nations that AREN'T applying internet restrictions?

With news of UK's Online Safety Act with similar legislation at least being introduced in the EU and US, what are nations that AREN'T implementing such privacy violations/censorship policies for me to connect w/ VPN to? I've been thinking about Norway and maybe Canada, but I'm still a noob here so if there are other nations with lax internet censorship I'd like to know them for when the hammer comes down in the USA/EU

I suspect the ClearNet is going to become a graveyard, and everything worthwhile on the internet is going to be on a .onion or .i2p domain.

yea, I can see every site being labelled as "adult" and require ID verification. Even video games, I saw someone share a SC of GTA online asking them to verify their ID.... doesn't make sense cause you gotta be 18+ to buy the game.

Canada's new government introduced Bill C-2 which contains a law that lets the government secretly order service providers to collect information or implement backdoors. And there's an age verification bill. And they might try to reintroduce the Online Harms Act.

None of it passed yet but the rot is just waiting to take hold. And the courts are useless and let the government do whatever it wants.

Brazil just voted for our own ID check law this week. It's basically a worse version of the UK one, because it forces anyone to ID regardless of age.
