After One Year of Searching about trading, I'm Still Lost

I've been searching for over a year and still haven't found a genuinely profitable trading signal or mentor. At this point, I'm starting to wonder if trading is just complete chaos, or if I simply haven't found the right people yet.

If there's anyone here who actually makes a consistent income from trading and is willing to mentor someone who's serious, I'd love to learn. I'm even willing to split a percentage of the profits I make from what you teach me.

I know I'm a fast learner and willing to put in the work. I don't want shortcuts or fake signals. I just need someone to point me in the right direction and help me take the first real step.

I've searched forums, Discord servers, Telegram groups, tforum... pretty much everywhere on the regular internet, but I haven't found anyone genuine.

A friend even told me that people on the deep web are more helpful than the regular internet. Is there any truth to that, or should I just keep searching?

I'd really appreciate any honest advice.

Brother let me tell you from my personal experience, I was learning to trade 4 years ago and was full in on that, paid mentors,signals... I did not get anything, I just lost money. However I learned wyckoff and some orderflow concepts. Those 2 can be profitable if you swing trade and have discipline. RR is 1:5-8 everytime, TPs only when its half way to TP, that way is the best for trading in my opinion. You get 3-4 trades weekly and thats it. But still look at me I learned all that and I dont drive lambo or have millions... So at the end I can say that there is A LOT of better ways to get big money. Not worth the time but okay.

I speak for forex trading.

Stocks are good only if you have insiders or like 100k-1mil in account.

Half way to TP is an interesting approach, since that's half of the trend or the fair price area where price "corrects" quite often and goes opposite direction!

Also, i agree that account size is important, gives you more room to mess around. I think funded accounts could be useful for somebody who doesn't have much starting capital. But DOYOR since nothing is risk free.
