Most defintely. NY just chops all day and straight insider trading, US is turning into Memecoins. Asia just so smooth it gives you a point in direction at times easier to read imo.

The thing about trading that nobody will tell you is trading comes down to your unique approach. You may have a higher risk tolerance and may be more disciplined than I, but the course-selling gurus don't want you to believe that otherwise their sales pitch is dead.

I used to be, not much of an edge over the market but enough with trade size management I stayed in positive P&L

I do bet on sports and have a small edge, though I use an exchange not ordinary sports betting companies. They're just to rip you off. On an exchange, you're trading with other real people.

The problem with people day trading is most people are looking for the one signal strategy, they don't look at the holistic review. Look at divergence with RSI vs price. You may hit divergence but you may not be at a support or resistance level and you take the trade and it keeps going instead reversing like you thought it would. A lot of people go in as a technical trader and they completely ignore fundamental aspect of trading which isn't smart. You may have a technical signal to get in but for example the war is going on that might make it unpredictable. My point is people are always looking for the "easy one signal strategy" which will always fail.

Look at the statistics at forex trading. 90 percent of forex traders go bust within 3 of months of starting. Big reasons they understand leverage that come into play (this goes for options too). Because of the 30 to 1 leverage that they don't understand they trade 25 percent of their capital and blow up their account. In trading they say your position size is everything, you shouldn't have anything above 1 percent of your capital in one single trade. Any good trader will tell you that.

Which brings me to your question is anyone profitable from day trading? Of coarse there is. There are people who make a living off of it. But too many people get into trading not understanding what they are doing, looking for the one signal strategy, and honesty just gambling. Trading isn't gambling. If you analyst tells you not do the trade, then don't do it. Trading takes time and patience. Too many are looking to drive Lambo within their first month. If you make 30% in a year you are killing it. So many people come to the table with low capital and 30% doesn't look like lambo material.
