So you are saying the blocks remaining at the top of the app are not counting down AT ALL?

If you only open the app when you need it, sync will take a very long time.

Easy way is to copy seed from wallet and download cake wallet in another mobile and use the seed and sync it

It should work

Happend me twice

I did the same and the wallet got sync

Thanks for all the advice guys! I opened my cake wallet this morning a couple of hours after waking up, not even thinking about, opened up my Cake Walet and the blocks started counting down and my correct amount of XMR was in my wallet! And in addition to that I won a dispute on something so also got a few hundred bucks back in my wallet as well. I just had the best..... "shopping spree" of my life lol.

I love this community where people actually give advice instead of just makiing me feel stupid for doing something wrong or that I'm inferior cause I'm asking a simple question.

Y'all are the best!

I was just about to do it until I just said fuck it and accepted that I will never see that money. Now all of a sudden this morning all my XMR was in my wallet :) I realize it takes a LONG time to send AND receive but wtf lol. Thanks for the help anyway.

So instead of opening my cake wallet sporadically and not routinely that's why it always takes my XMR wallet SO LONG to synchronize? I''ve had this happen before but it's usually just slow cause everything is routed through TOR. This time it took over 24 hours for my funds to become visible. Would you happen to know if feather wallet is ran through Tor? I know one thing for sure, I'm just getting the official monero wallet an app. Way more support from what I can tell.

Thanks for your advice

Cheers

The getmonero one? That's for PC's. I wouldn't trust any Android/IOS "Official" app. I'd stick with Cake/Feather there.

But to your question - yes, I would open and let it sync around once a week or when you can.
