I am under the assumption mining crypto is no longer worth it due to CPU and GPU prices not to mention RAM prices
Is it worth building a machine specifically to mine coins if your electricity bill is zero?

Yeah, if you could get free electricity, mining would be a treasure
dont do inboxes mate but to start mining you can find all the info on the clearnet.
If you plan on using specialised ASIC devices in low cost environments you can still make profit from it but as many others already mentioned the hobbyists times are over unless you have free electricity.
