How about setting up BT Traps at entry points to alert pigs presence? ;)
Don't they only visit early in the mornings to say hello .... with element of surprise in store?

was thinking of using a high-power beacon, or using like a high-gain antenna,
something to increase the range on it, any suggestions?

Thats actually pretty good. Didn't think of it like that at all.
You are welcome.
Get something together,
ask some badass users here/test it/test it again market it and you can make some XMR out of it.
When you at it, get a ANPR reader for a car that looks like dashcam,
that will record pigs number plates that can be instantly shared,
stored on the blockchain etc. ;)
(I know they rotate the cars and move them around ...)
