For OPSEC and privacy, I always prefer if I can separate my wallets by what they are gonna be used for and their level of sensitivity, or lack therof..... instead of just adding them all to one app,,, I have used multiple portable instances of Cake Wallet for quite some time since it's much more conevnient to do that than commit to the use of containers or separate usernames or accounts to sandbox the wallets. Seems that the latest update, Cake will write all it's data to the ~/.config folder no matter what.
There was a pretty useful, and nice guide abotu this specific topic in the Cake Docs on their website but the environment variables they say to use no longe work for me... Does anyone know if I'm messing it up or did they really remove that feature.

Can Cake Wallet no longer run portable by changing environment variables?
