What strategies do you use?

Okay, yes, I think shorter timeframes are nonsense. If you don't think so, I suggest you study a bit more technical analysis. The longer the timeframe, the greater the accuracy of the trade, according to technical analysis. Now, if you want to continue being a candlestick hunter, that's your problem. This isn't roulette, brother. If you want to hunt candlesticks, I suggest you choose a color on the roulette wheel; your chances will be higher.

The chances of making a profit using 1 or 5-minute timeframes exist, but as I said before, this isn't gambling; people are putting up real money, and nobody wants to risk losing it.

When I say not to buy CFDs, it's simply because you can be stopped out by the broker and lose all your money in the worst-case scenario. But if you buy a stock or a crypto, you'll always have a stock or a crypto, so you can wait as long as you need to recover your money.

so HFT is all just luck? the nanoseconds they require to execute at subsecond timeframes at major hedge funds is nonsense? traders that live in the 15-30m timeframes and have success year over year are just lucky? cant be the case

also please dont claim that if you buy a crypto, youll always have it.. how many crypto scams have happened where it just disappeared? hell how many times have companies failed anf people bascially no longer had any shares/stock of that company? I mostly agree with what youre saying here, but it isnt something that is a guarantee by any means, and heavily depends on the underlying equity or crypto

and yeah you can be stopped out by your broker if you dont meet the margin requirements, protecting you from owing the company your life savings. if you are tradinng in a fashion that uou are at ridk of your broker force closing your positions, then YOU are gambling, because you're risking more capital than you even have to begin with. thats why regulations exist and in most sensible countries you cant trade certain instruments without a certain amount of capital and/or much lower limits on leverage (ex. "offshore" forex and cfd brokers offering 500:1 or like 1000:1 leverage. I mean come on, that is absurd and no one in their right mind would make use of such leverage for any extended period of time

and also just fyi, Options and Futures are NOT CFDs... i cant tell if youre implying that they are the same thing or not. They have underlyiing assets that theoretically could and often do change hands.. they arent just betting on the difference....

Because if you are saying they are different, i yeah i would agree, dont trade CFDs unless you want to lose your house

I agree with you, my friend, but honestly, this whole story about creating the perfect setup is absurd. The idea that there's a magic formula to multiply your money and become a millionaire overnight with day trading is nonsense. Real traders aim for a 2% to 5% monthly profit. This becomes sustainable because the invested capital is relatively high, but the higher the return, the greater the profit. When you say you made a 40% profit, I ask what risk you exposed yourself to, because profit is proportional to risk. And I'd like to ask: would you have enough confidence in your operation to risk your house as collateral?

The goal is not to win, but rather not to lose. Many successful traders don't even use indicators, or they use very simple indicators like moving averages and volume; they trade very few times, and when they manage to reach their target, which is above 2%, they close their positions and only return to trading the following month. That's what differentiates the small investor from the shark: the certainty of their trade.

investors that lost all their money in fake crypto projects participating in a project with people you don't know seems stupid to me. And about stocks, people haven't done enough fundamental analysis, technical analysis doesnt work without fundamental analysis

Actually the more distant in time you are the harder things become to predict. The only time something is going to be accurate is if you are investing in a stable/safe stock or currency that will most probably see gains in the future. You can also do a shit ton of research but there's still a chance you will fail and your trading will be slower than a day trader. Your not going to make large amounts of money that way unless you are already investing large amounts of money.

The world economy is extremely complex. Very hard to predict. That's why its such a dicey activity. Unless you are investing in the most stable/safest bets you are probably going to lose money. It's possible that you find a strategy that works but it'll only be temporary because shit will change and you probably still need a large amount of money to make meaningful gains in a short amount of time. Like honestly it's better to invest in real world assets, skills, illegal businesses, hacking, fraud than trading if you really want big gains quickly/don't have the large amounts of money to make significant gains through slow stable investment.
