Ordering through the mail to your house is risky enough as is but at least you will have some indication in the event of a CD, such as a different mailman delivering your package, the mailman demanding a signature, unfamiliar cars parked around your neighborhood, etc.

With P.O. Boxes, you lose that ever so slight advantage. If you’re ordering to a PO Box and a package does get caught there will be very little warning if any.

That said, it all comes down to your risk tolerance and what you’re comfortable with. A lot of people do use P.O. Boxes at the post office.

Pay someone that doesn't care to use their box, have them sign up for Informed Delivery And get the login info that way you know when packs are landing/land.

The "group E" PO boxes are really expensive. There's no need for such a large box.

Instead, find a USPS location with parcel lockers and purchase the smallest PO box.

USPS will deliver your pack in a locker and leave you the key in your PO box.

Would you recommend a Private Mailbox (PMB) over one of the PO boxes at USPS for any reason?

I don't know anyone with a PO box. Would you recommend just renting one from USPS or is a PMB better for any reason? Or another option?

deliveryamigo and usps gopost are unfortunately not available in my area. I'm not sure what you mean by the virtual office or coworking space suggestions - pardon my ignorance.

What do you think about a PMB vs. a USPS PO box?

Like UPS Store? Absolutely not.

Private mailbox companies can open your mail and packages whenever they feel like it. This has resulted in many arrests.

With USPS, a warrant is required for anything except Express.

Thank you, I greatly appreciate the advice. I'll look into PO boxes at the USPS near me.
