Whatever you choose, stay away from Javascript
thank you for the answer, is there any specific reason for manu using PHP/Laravel?
so, no nodejs?
English lol
Only that PHP is a well-known language for many people and Laravel does a lot of things while being relatively simple to learn. There's no reason it has to be PHP.

NodeJS should be fine if that's what you're most comfortable with. Their warning you about client-side JavaScript, which you should definitely avoid.

PHP still runs most markets. Simple, cheap hosting, easy to find devs. Python for automation and scraping around the market. Node if you want speed. Java if you want to suffer. Pick what gets you to launch fastest.
It is because it is very simple for total beginners if you just want to make websites.
But pure PHP (no frameworks) encourage messy code.
