Can I use tails on windows and be fine?
Yes because when you run TailsOS it is running from the USB stick directly. It doesn't matter what OS is on the machine drives. That's what makes Tails strong.
Yes. Use a Linux distro Os. Until they shut that down too. They are pushing ID verification on everything soon.
Well for one, you can''t NOT afford going into Linux unless it is something not monetary-related. Linux distros are mostly free, and especially the ones towards privacy-geared enthusiasts such as us tforum users.
Doing so, you will definitely need to afford yourself some times on how the general operating system works on Linux; it varies from distro to distro, but generally the base functionality like navigating inside of Linux will be uniform.
As for the OPSEC Concerns with Windows; not only do you have to lock down your entire system to prevent telemetry (and not just click a few settings), but this is the d/conspiracy thread for a reason; I find it likely there's some form of background telemetry that we cannot avoid. Supposedly Intel' has something embedded in chips nowadays, although I found pretty good disputes against that being an issue.

Using tor on windows is already big no no. Use Qubes, Whoinx, Tails as OS if you are that concerned.
Read dnmbible go to Operating Systems section, more information about secure OS is there

Tails isn't running on Windows. Machine can run single OS (not including VMs). You either are running Tails or Windows.
If you're using a proprietary OS like Windows, macOS, ChromeOS, or your computer is infected with a virus, then yes.
Yeah, if you use Windows or some cheesy VPN like Nord. Actually Windows 11 takes a screenshot every few seconds, for those that still use Windows for the DN, they are taking screenshots of your activity.
if you're using windows or mac then they could take screenshots and that's a scary possibility.
