Religion and population control.

Have you ever stopped to think about how much we are shaped by religion? There have always been a bunch of old Jewish men who dictate rules and pull the strings to control everything. Sometimes I find myself thinking that perhaps society would be less unjust if we weren't a bunch of obedient sheep going to slaughter. And what if the Bible didn't forbid murder? Would we accept a boss yelling in our ear, or would we have already drunk his blood for lunch? If the Bible allowed suicide, would anyone wake up at 7 am to be enslaved by the rich, or would everyone have already bought a "ticket" to paradise? Religion controls us like defenseless sheep that are enslaved their whole lives and dream that they will achieve something when they die. And what if there is nothing after death? You were completely deceived! But now it's too late because you died. Do you know why they haven't revealed the existence of extraterrestrials yet? So that the population doesn't realize that religion is a big lie. And that way they will lose their slaves.

Religion is more of a moral guide rather than a statutory law. Think about it like, if we involved in murder, religion will judge us morally but the law will take tougher actions on the doer.

So, I think it's safer and more truer to say the law controls us. We are mostly shaped or controlled by laws rather than religion.

in my opinion religions were born with the urge to control people but in a good way.

We could say that back then the man wasn't a "big fan of thinking" (or using the brain in a morally correct way), so religions were a list of "rules" to live a decent life without having to see men stealing, murdering etc... due to the fear of a God that would judge them in an after-life

Yes, without religions, people would feel freer to do whatever they want, which would cause chaos in the system. Slaves could revolt against their masters. The key point of control is promises; without promises, the herd wouldn't be so obedient.

The idea of suffering in this life to receive rewards after death is quite good for the masters, so the herd remains obedient.

Let's remember the Inquisition. The rebels and insurgents were all annihilated with such cruelty that no human being would dare to defy the sacred law, because those who did, besides enduring the worst unimaginable tortures for a human being on this planet, would also be doomed to the eternal fires of hell, where you will be burned for all eternity, which makes no sense at all since after death we would no longer have a body, we would only be spirit, physical torture makes no sense whatsoever.

Religion is biggest scam known on earth. Just a manipulation to control society.
