We are slowly turning into a brainless society. THE DANGERS OF AI

Its tool just like the many of programs we have been using for decades it's just big search engine giving output utilizing the many areas it's trained on instead buttons tools and script programea generators ect
It's next age of web! The big wide world of clear net is made to look daunting to navigate so ur ai buddy u been trusting and growing up to know it can always give u the best advise health work career hobbiea drugs creating some bullshit whatever
I see it it doesn't do anything different it makes it convenient for some and most slaves hoping the new gen trap
But no 1 Jewish cunts sam jewdick and the rest of Jewish gold digging xunt is spying it's one hub u trust self host never gana get done by wider public they want quick swift and something works easy to fiddle with right in there pocket
Soon to sew another evolution of tech smart phone era is ending and it's gana be all of this ai crap I have feel many years away they will look at smart phones to say they are old tech how on earth did we use them

AI wrote this. thats what the /s for
LLMs have already replaced jobs, a lot of jobs.
This I still have to be a witness of. I honestly have no idea what you're talking about. This happens neither in the real world, or in the statistics that are supposed to describe it. The only people sustaining this theory are Anthropic employees and AI boosters.
An example may be a foreign language teacher.
This is cherry picking. AI is especially good at translation and already was before LLM became mainstream. And even this example is not that good. Teaching languages is mostly a living process - one based on improvisation, more than plans. I'm not arguing AI is useless to the average teacher, but it's far, very far from replacing it. You made the comparison with past events to highlight search engines didn't brainrot people (which I agree too), but you seem to forgot how many times we were promised the internet, tablets, metaverse, 5G (etc.) was about to turns things upside down for schools. It didn't happen either.
My bad, I was too zoned out. I like how it says there is no evidence and then tells to think for yourself. Sad part is some people treat this trash as a Delphic Oracle and will soon have the mentality of needing a 100 randomized double-blinded studies about whether they should wipe their ass after taking a shit.
It is a major concern I have seen people use AI for the most basic of tasks like the example you gave and it blows my mind. These are tasks that young children should be capable of doing and I have seen anyone from teens to adults using it for the most simple of things. Society as a whole is falling apart people are becoming more dumb and stupid and degenerate.
That's the danger. All our science is humans trying to make sense of our environment, fit in into rules we understand. Learning without understanding is pointless. You'll have done the course, got straight As for your diploma, and your neigbor asks you a simple question that'd be part of the 101. Now, you're neigbor asked an "expert" in the field and found out that the expert has no clue and asked an AI.
Why does alc give you the impression of being warm and why is it dangerous? Alc widens your artheria. When it is cold, our body slows the amount of blood pumped in our fingers / ends to preserve the body warmth of vital parts. With alc, this natural protection is lost, and instead of loosing a finger to frostbite, you lose your life.
Now GPT may just tell you "yes, alcohol decreases the cold feeling", so if you live on the steet lke I, you may think "great, let's get drunk so I can sleep!". If you know the full answer, you'll only do that if you hope to die. Sorry for the weird methaphor, was the first example that came to mind.

Not true, when Gutenberg invented the press, many said that people would stop thinking now that the answer is readily available. One famous such was Victor Hugo, who may never have gained popularity without Gutenberg's press.
Radio and TV got similar critics too.
At first, when the AI came out, I wiuld have tended to agree with the AIs answer. Now, I saw too many people ask a AI for an answer and try applying it to their question without even thinking about it. I heard some people saying Wkipedia's useless now, we have a talking encyclopedia in our pockets.
What I find funny though, is that if the AIs aren't too heavily censored, they seem to hate humans.

Does anyone consider the possibility of AI once they reach AGI being the "antichrist" they speak off? Another reason for the race to get there first,
If you ask me, the internet has been dead for 10 years now. Every platform is some low IQ echo chamber with agendas being propelled by bots. Yeah there's this war on bots, but the bots always win in the end. Even if they locked everything down I am sure the bot farms being ran in India, China, US, or wherever will be excluded from the restrictions.
The elites are freaking out right now that people are having access to AI. AI or machine learning to be more precise has been around for a decade and a half. Now that AI is out in the open the elites are purposely jacking up computer prices and passing identity verification laws disguised as age verification, so people can't run their own propaganda bots.
I really suggest looking up the dead internet theory as the real dead internet theory explains that internet died in 2016, which explains why many platforms are shitty echo chambers that propel the same beliefs.
