Ik this is a noob question, but thats what this is for anyways, but how do you actually generate the keys? Is there a software that auto generates these encryption keys? I have dead ass not heard of PGP before today, and though im sure to someone who actually knows what PGP is your guide on how to safely generate keys would be useful, to me, im just lost :/
Which operating system are you using?
It's a nice post.

I'm a newbie also although I've made a master thesis some many years ago about... RSA, DES and so on. Recently, I've gone into VPS and accessing them via SSH with the pair of keys generated with puttygen. But in that case, one sends the public key and the private waits in the host to give access.
That's why it took some days until I caught up the point in using public keys of vendors and mine. Only who has the private key can open the door to the postman.
