There are only three things you need to verify an authentic copy of Tor:
1) Import the Developer's Key

It will be downloaded as an .asc file. Double-click in to import.
2) Then you will need to download the corresponding ".asc" signature file
3) As well as the installer file itself, and verify it with a command that asks GnuPG to verify the file that you downloaded.
The result of the command should produce something like this:
