I've noticed a lot of vendors recently experiencing "issues with RM". I highly doubt that is the case as I never have any issues ordering things via royal mail on clearnet, not sure why it would be any different on here. But even so, why don't more vendors provide special delivery?
I'm aware it's an opsec issue, but most provide tracked shipping anyway as opposed to stamps these days. So to all vendors: please provide that as an option. I've NEVER experienced delays with special delivery, other than Christmas.
some are genuine issues royal mail can suck balls ive had parcels left just out in the open against my door, thrown at my door (literally), damaged, lost, the works all for legal things but i think the whole "royal mail has issues" is also just code for "we couldnt be fucked to send your pack right now"
There are definitely issues, maybe more for some than others. I've never experienced the issues you describe, but I'm in a relatively rural area so could be down to that. But the many shipping issues vendors claim to have are definitely overstated.
yeah rural areas will have potentially longer times or more issues i know people who live rural who have paid for T24 (to send shit to their family or something) and it's taken an extra day or two but like you said it is hugely overstated as royal mail do typically have a decent delivery time
