DrugHub: How do you Finalize Early (FE) Escrow XMR

DrugHub: "Any support requests on tforum (posts, PMs or mod mails) will be ignored and/or removed."

Meanwhile any attempt to gain insight on this issue comes to a dead end. Here is my issue as a buyer:

My vendor and i agreed on FE, but my new orders get status new-escrow and still cannot be escrow released, they first need to be accepted by the vendor, Ive looked for FE-features, buttons information, but there is no such feature or help for me to find on the page DrugHub, their guides, etc. The only info is in the rules states a vendor can only ask for FE if they have FE status - that of which my vendor does have. But a mystery how that is implemented into the Market DrugHub.

So, Is it just me and i m i stupid?

Problem is if either I would not release escrow after vendor takes on order, i basically hold the FE feature hostage meaning the vendor wants to avoid the risk.

Leading to vendor not accept the order and left pending/new escrow status, meaning that i cant prove that I'm going to FE. Basically STUCK in this loop.

This leads to canceled orders and this shows up in the public statistics of a buyers or sellers page, giving a false insight into these metrics that come from some feature that doesn't exist properly.

Here's the flow:

1. Vendor with FE privilege creates FE listing

2. Buyer clicks on FE listing

3. Vendor Accepts order

4. Escrow is released to vendor as soon as he clicks accept

One or both of y'all are fucking up a simple process.

If it's an FE listing by an FE vendor then buyer makes the order, vendor accepts, funds go to vendor immediately.

if vendor does not have FE privileges, then you have toi wait until the order is marked as 'processed' and then you can FE after (i think) 24 hours, not immediately (although don't quote me on that last bit)

if (as you say) vendor does have FE privilege, he creates an FE listing, you buy it, it auto FE';s when vendor accepts order

simple

EDIT which vendor is it? just so we can have a look for you...

EDIT2 you sound new to this game, if so please avoid FE and just go with escrow listings for now while you get the feel of things

/d/superlist markets only. We do not endorse or suggest the use of independent escrow. Only market escrow. See /d/superlist.

Are you buying an escrow listing and want to treat it as FE and release the funds right away? If this is the case, and the order is still in 'NEW', then the vendor has not accepted it yet. Once it is accepted by him, you will be able to release the escrow and that would essentially act as an FE order. Not sure why you would do that, but its your money.

If it is a true FE listing, /u/samwhiskey already explained it

Im not new just to the way the specifics are within that market are unclear to both me and the seller.

Vendor has:

"Vendor Type: Finalize Early (FE)"

on my order.

"Order type: Escrow"

"Status: new - escrow"

Assumption (not yet accepted) therefore waiting on vendors next step. The system forcefully wont allow early release of escrow while in this status phase so it wont end up released and unaccepted luckily, that is not possible and would be terrible for the buyer.

I assume next step is for my vendor to accept the order, or re-list it from "Listing type: Escrow" but as an actual ' FE-listing ', only in these two scenario's then can i release the escrow early am i correct?

As for checking along with me thanks a lot, i value privacy and told the vendor to choose themselves to join in or opt out in this post's comments. Its a known vendor and vouched by a few good vendors, pgp's match, URL is good, clientside too, etc so it seems to check out in terms of riskprofile, it is is low enough. Avoiding FE listings is what i do however i came to this vendor for reasons.

Thanks

On an escrow order if the vendor accepts it then it's up to you to release escrow but it has to be after he accepts it. Relisting as FE-listing means that as soon as he accepts the order it automatically finalizes without your input so the vendor would not have to wait for you to finalize or worry that you'd leave it in escrow.

The best thing to do is have the vendor relist as FE order and accept it once you place the order. In that scenario he gets his money as soon as he hits accept.
