Recently moved to a new place. Whats the risk of getting a pack shipped using an old residents name that frequently still has mail sent to this residence?
As long as the pack doesn't get held and needs ID to release your good to good also keep it in mind its a federal offense to open mail not in your name so if you ever got a controlled delivery and opened it you'd be dinged twice

When people move they usually get their mail forwarded. Now junk mail doesn't get forwarded and that is most likely the mail you are seeing. The postage will say something like 'presort standard'.
First class mail and packages will always be forwarded so you'll lose your shit for no reason. Also the postman knows for sure that the old tenants moved and you moved in so even if no forwarding is in place there is a great chance that it is scanned 'address not known' or similar and returned to sender.
Using an old resident's name is not a good idea at all.

its not a fag move like using your neighbor's mailbox-but it is still a move that shows you may be on the fence about whether or not you possess the minerals in your pants to do this thing.
This right here. Your pack will either get lost or not delivered, most likely. It's a worse idea than using your name.
