Connecticut’s Take on the Glock Ban

I'm in CT, do you know what they're considering a Glock "clone?"

I mean, it looks like any striker fired gun with a cruciform trigger bar and no tab on the slide to block a switch would count. I'm assuming that an would include M&Ps wouldn't it?

We didn’t receive any official guidance from SLFU. Think Shadow Systems, P80, PSA Dagger, etc… plenty of aftermarket Glock Clone frames now that definitely will not fly.

Some argue that other striker-fired pistols use a very similar trigger linkage. I would ask 1. Is it cross-shaped, and 2. Can one hypothetically make a switch that works for it that simply attaches to the rear of the slide and depresses on that linkage?

Am a CT gun owner, got a Glock 19X V. I'm not sure of the wording of this bill, does this ban cover the Glock 19X?

You currently possess it, thus it was manufactured prior to 10/1/26 and does not face any restrictions.

Assuming Glock wanted to make more V’s after 10/1, those would not be banned as they have the tab on the frame.

Thanks. I'm in the market for a striker fired 9mm EDC gun and was worried that anything in this category would be at risk.

CT resident here…its mind blowing how much time and effort goes into their obsession with banning the tools used rather than fixing the actual issues surrounding gun violence.
