I've been considering this over an AR since I'm in CA. I know they are aren't the same, but with all the compromises on ARs here, I feel like this would be a more fun option.

get it. it performs the same with none of the social stigma. and it looks absolutely gorgeous.

All you're really sacrificing with a mini is the cool looks and some M-Lok / Pic rail modularity.

With some elbow grease, it can function the exact same.

Nice. I have one as well. I tried replacing the rail with a picatinny, but the bolts on the gas block must have locktite 2000 on them.

Only 10s allowed in my state…cause bad.

i'll be replacing it with an adjustable gas block eventually too. getting tired of watching my brass fly 30 feet into the bushes.

i see pain and suffering in my future. lmao

I’ll send mine to a gunsmith to change it out. It would suck stripping / breaking the bolts.
