I know a lot of folks like .357 Magnum lever guns because they're relatively sedate, but I think the .44 is the sweet spot...more of a thump than a .357, but not as brutal as a .45-70 can be.
Love it. I may need one of those for my .44 collection.
Yeah, it's very enjoyable to shoot both .44 and .357 out of lever guns.
+1 for wood. Lever guns don't get the love they should 'round here.
I have a sickness and a disease that tells me add a an optics rail and thread the barrel for a can.
