Because then you don't have to boot into Tails for your activities.

Make a shared folder in VM

Plug in USB in Linux host

Put in persistent password

Open terminal

sudo su -

cd to mounted drive / Persistent

cp * /home/user/shared (Shared folder you made up above)

cd /home/user/shared

chown yourhostusername:yourhostusername *
