Tails installed from 2019, now trouble trating

It all depends on if hard drive is physically damaged or not it can be costly it would probably be breakeven just to send it off and have the pros fix it but it is possible you might end up with 200 dollars from the whole thing.

But if the bios can see it thats a step in the right direction

Well hard drive is good. Downloaded another tails on different USB and it worked out just fine booting. But that was 2026 edition
