so i’m on a macbook & very new to learning this, that being said, i’ve been reading the dw bible & have learned a lot, but right as i was ready to download tails.. i checked my processor & it’s an apple chip instead of intel :( which means tails wont work. ugh. what is the alternative?? on the website it mentions asahi linux, is that similar? their ‘about’ section is pretty vague. unless i am just dumb :b

any help & recs are super appreciated, just need an alternative to access.

UTM allows x86 emulation via QEMU, so Tails may be usable on Apple Silicon. With a stripped-down VM config it can be reasonably isolated from normal macOS use, but Tails warns that running in a VM on a Mac may not work well. Separate hardware is the better option for actual consistent use tho.
