but it's pretty much an Operating System, like MacOS, Windows, Android
(Based on Linux btw) and iOS, If you want to go more deep into it there
is various flavors like Tails OS, Debian, Mint, ect ect and yeah, there
is Google if you need it.

recommend learning linux start with debian kde but i dont know what ur

You do understand that TailsOS IS linux
right? Anything you can do in a Debian based distro you can do in Tails

Linux is just the kernel, but many
different distributions/flavors have popped up, some that are good for
opsec (tails, qubes) and some that are just very practical for normal
people (nixos, mint, ubuntu, debian, etc). if you want opsec go for
qubes, but if you want something good and modular (for a work/school
device), and if you are willing to go in depth to learn linux, go for
nixos.
