Lately i have been working on some websites for fun and i was thinking of hosting them . But i dont know if its worth it .

So for those how already host hidden services. Is the money and time worthy or not

Also, is it a good idea to self host , and how do i make a website more popular

it depends on what you wanna host, but technically it is even possible to host a Tor hidden service on a local area network behind a firewall, but you will need internet access. but I don't really suggest you host your onion in such environment.

You can use all sorts of hosting setups to host a Tor hidden service: shared, VPS and dedicated servers. it depends on your budget.

You can advertise your Onion in all sorts of places from sites in dark web to even clear web portals. depends on your preference.

here's a good tutorial: /post/218dbd70634ffc3be16d

Everyone has a link site nowadays. Seriously, it's oversaturated. And markets should not even touch the internet unless the admin is incredibly intelligent and skilled. But yeah, if it's just a small fun project, go for it. Maybe make a small chatroom, or some sort of tool that helps people.
