Ten character chosen prefix hidden service addresses

I have generated a ten character chosen prefix hidden service address. This was achieved with new software that blows other chosen prefix hidden service address generators such as mkp224o out of the water in terms of attempts per second. Using the mid-range server CPU, AMD EPYC 7502P, I was able to achieve an average of three hundred seventy-five million attempts per second.

Running this for eight hundred hours for over one quadrillion attempts yields the final address, starting with ten twos in a row, 2222222222sqohg2fsavmtjhdkcpwjgxfsyuxydpu4fg2vh3yts4vmad.onion. Despite this being the highest ranked hidden service address when sorting all hidden service addresses alphanumerically, this also proves that checking or memorizing the first few characters of a vanity address is not enough to prevent phishing attacks.

Dedicated attackers can easily generate ten character or even possibly eleven character prefixes with marginal effort and enough time and resources. The cost for this experiment was €111.
