I agree it would be nice to see a full policy statement, and having a trusting relationship with the platform will have to come with time; however this is very normal middle man behavior, not something to be overly concerned over.

nice cover, bottle boy. I smell bullshit, try harder.
I'm not going to use it, nor will I recommend it to anyone until it has built up decent rep. It must be a quite shitty life to have an cynical outlook on people you have not, and will not meet. What happened to you to make you this way, do you need to chat about it?
I am more familiar with psychology, neurology, and SE techniques than you, so do fuck off with your tforum ranting, this is a serious place where scamming is real, and fuckwits get people killed or in jail, and if you think you can play games with me, you're dreaming.
Our terms of service includes general guidelines on how we resolve disputes, but it is ultimately a case-by-case basis.

In order to sell XMR on our website, you must deposit the amount you'd like to sell first, so that we can hold it in escrow during the trade. This makes the transaction safe for the buyer; however, it also means you have to trust the Global Monero site with your funds in order to use it. For maximum trade security, we recommend using Haveno/RetoSwap -- Global Monero exists for the sake of convenience, and for non-technical users (and the traders who have non-technical clientele). We look to fill the gap that LocalMonero left behind. :-)

General resolution guidelines
While disputes are handled on a case-by-case basis, there are general guidelines to our resolution process.
- We generally resolve in favor of the **buyer** if the buyer can provide sufficient evidence of completing the transaction outlined in the trade offer requested by the seller or if the seller is found unresponsive.
- We generally resolve in the favor of the **seller** in any other case, including if the agreed payment was not made or only partially fulfilled; if the payment processor used froze the funds before the buyer properly received them; or if the buyer is found unresponsive.
- In rare cases, we might split the XMR between the buyer and the seller; however, this is only for extremely specific scenarios and usually requires agreement from both parties. If the buyer provides only partial funds, the trade is generally resolved completely in favor of the seller.

I'll bet.
If you are interested, you can refer to our terms of service to see our dispute resolution policy.
It's indeed necessary that we first build up a reputation and userbase, before we can be trusted with large deposits. We'd love to see people try it out, with small deposits first. (In fact, for large transactions in general, you really should be using a service more like RetoSwap whenever possible, even if we did already have a good reputation.)
There are no deposit, withdrawal, or trade amount minimums, so absolutely feel free to test it!

From the looks of it, XMRGlobal is still up and running. Our service has been in development as "Global Monero" since 2024. :-)
