Hey guys, as you know tforum is shadow banning all accounts
trying to use their shitty platform with tor. Even if you browse with
their onion - they still flag you and shadow ban you.
Do you guys have secure way of using it these days? I tried connecting
to mullvad from inside whonix workstation - but it seems this doesn't
work as i couldn't connect to mullvad or any vpn that i tried. Maybe if I
add proxy as final hop after the tor circuit from about:config and
network.proxy.socks and port? Will it go your IP -> Tor connection
-> Proxy IP -> tforum ? I really need to bypass their shitty
tforum protection and be able to use the platform securely. Any advices
are appreciated.
All of things you mentioned have one problem in common.
That problem is: IP reputation.
The best way to archive this while preserving anonymity is the following:
- Whonix / Tails
- Firefox
- Using residential proxies inside Firefox
Please note that most residential proxy providers charge per GB of outbound traffic.
Considering the fact that tforums frontend is notoriously heavy and
loads a few mb of uncached assets on each request, things could get
expensive really fast.
That problem is: IP reputation.

Secondly, tforum could fingerprint Tor browser too and shadow ban you for that. Spoofing your browser is your best bet here.

Do you mean to install firefox inside Whonix-Workstation and run proxy
with it? Why not run a proxy in the regular browser that is supported in
Whonix?
