I have bought a domain and vps with monero. Now for extra security, I am thinking about setting up a CDN service in between them so people can''t find my backend ip by simply looking up my domain and seeing the A records.
Two options I know of:
Cloudflare (Least secure obv but free so thats a plus)
ddos-guard.net (Apparently secure but who knows but paid)
What method would you guys recommend to hide my backend ip from people looking up my domain? If using a CDN provider in between is the best way, then which one would you recommend?
Thanks
Cloudflare tunnel or DDOS Guard.
DDoS-Guard sucks major dick and their claimed 3.2 TBPS protection is bullshit.
Good to know.
I recommend you create your own selfhosted reverse proxy instead of Cloudflare or DDOS-Guard. You can use the open source Boringproxy, which is free software. All you need to do is buy an anonymous VPS using XMR and then using it to hide your real servers IP address.
If you bought your domain and VPS anonymously using Monero, then you do not need any CDN. Cloudflare is not anonymous and requires a valid email address, which could get you doxxed by evil organisations like FBI. I stay away from Cloudflare as this big corporation is not interested in privacy. FBI cannot do anything to your VPS except perhaps tell your provider to shut it down, but they too could tell Cloudflare to de-anonymise you and then go to your VPS provider and tell them to shut you down.
But as you are anonymous, they can not arrest you. You can always re-incarnate.

It's pretty easy to create an anonymous email address for cloudflare
Can you give me one anonymous email address service that exists? I do not mind free or paid but if I am required to pay then I only accept XMR.
morke.org or cock.li both free. Sign up over tor
Thank you for providing the two free services :)
