Hello

is this a problem? does it connect to the onion server?
How are you trying to connect? And what server? SSL is not regular for onion services.

If you're connecting to a hidden service the connection is already encrypted so it doesn't matter if the SSL certificate isn't valid.
i m using pidgin on tails
i use socks5/tor 9050 and on server i write the onion address and get the ssl certificate could not be verified from the onion address and that the certificate comes from the domain.
so if i accept the certificate am i connecting to the onion server or not?
am i good with it or do i need to configure something else?

Like root says, you can actually ignore the certificate if possible. It's useless to verify for onion addresses.
It's still weird though. Sure you don't add https:// by yourself in the configuration?
