Been lurking and wondering on some differences and word meanings

I have only been lurking and looking at markets and forums, have come across words i dont know

what is kush and what is the difference between that and normal weed, what is haze, and whats the difference between that and kush. What is cali, and what is the difference between it and the other stuff, and what is low shelf, middle shelf and high shelf?

All the beginning terms are just marketing in my opinion. Don't forget zaza.

Top/Mid/Low shelf is the price of the herb. Sometimes, it's a better quality/more THC content/better yield/more preferred strain.

hop on some social media platform and start watching videos to inform your self of the industry terms.

but just as MrBacon stated, mostly advertisement terms for sales.

Shake - the bits that fall offf the nugs / bottom of the bag

RSO - thc oil

concentrate/wax/badder/sugar/crumble/shadder - thc concentrates

rosin - the good thc concentrate

resn - the....still good, cheaper thc concentrate

kush/haze are old school terms for "quality stuff", cali is just a good marketing term to also claim you have quality stuff.
