How do you know the "Shipping From" country is accurate?

If I want to stick to a domestic order (US to US), how do I know the order will not actually be shipped from outside the US? Is it just assumed because of the risks to the vendor? Do international listings ever pose as "domestic"?

Actually there's a pill vendor with has listings both from both India-US and US-US, and a couple buyers reported that they ordered the US-US listing but their pack actually was shipped from India. I think there were some posts or comments about it on tforum and in at least one of the reviews on the market. Not sure whether it was sloppiness on the vendor's part, but there certainly is a reason to lie because customers are more likely to order domestic and many vustomers avoid international all together. But as u/RandomRights said, it's going to come out in the feedback and reviews if a vendor does this regularly, so they wouldn't be in business for long.

Edit: Doing it for small orders would pretty much instantly burn the vendor I'd think

on Drughub if any vendor send from another country the account listed there gets banned right away
