I have a macbook pro 13 that means that it has an arm64-based architecture so the use of tails and several vm´s is not possible for me. Did I miss something? How risky is it to shop in the dn only using the tor browser and no tails?
I have a macbook pro as well with an m1 chip, so I'm in the same boat as you. I would recommend checking out asashi linux and installing that. Not as secure as Tails, but more secure than macOS. I've been using the KDE Plasma Fedora remix and I really like it. The only thing is that you need to do some researching on how to get the right version of Tor browser, look on tforum and there should be a link to a mirror that has the experimental (nightly) version of Tor browser for arm64 linux.
