Tails not working on new laptop

I recently got a new lenovo ideapad slim 5 and whenever i plug my tails usb stick in it will not show up before its said yes it works on other devices but everytime i plug the usb into the lenovo and restart the 'use a device' option doesnt pop up same thing with the boot key. Help is much apriciated.

Some Lenovo Ideapads are ARM/SnapDragon based also, which will NOT work with Tails.

The ideapad slim 5 is AMD or Intel. The OP's issue is most likely a bios boot setting (possibly secureboot).

People must start realizing many new laptops are ARM/SnapDragon.

yeah thats my problem i just moved back to my old computer for now
