Tracking says "Your item is being processed by United States customs" for 3 days. Is this normal

I have an inbound package from Canada. Tracking says "inbound to customs" but also the above status for 3 days. The stealth from the vendor is very good and Ive ordered from them before, but I dont recall any of their packages getting stuck in customs like this? Time to worry or normal? Thanks

Your shit might be in customs for six weeks and that's normal. Be patient.

That message is just saying US customs now has your package. It can take up to 45 days for customs to process your pack but they usually get it done within a week or two. If there is an issue with your order you'll get a "love letter" in the mail letting you know your pack was seized, assuming it isn't a large amount.

means nothing, could be a backlog, issue with docs or simple delays.
