Hi, I am pretty new hear and before ordering something on DNM's I want to be sure that my order is as secure as it can be. I was reading here about how you should never give email or phone number to a vendor because he can be probably a LE. I don't get it, if I give him information like my name, city, adress etc. why is giving an email a bad idea to a vendor? The vendor does already know a lot of information about me, what is the harm with sending him my email adress?
Most vendors that require email/phone number are shipping it with DPD so should I look for another shipping option like DHL or domestic post? If I want to buy a small amount like 5g max, what is the best shipping option?

For 5 grams of a not so expensive product I would choose the local post service/domestic post without any tracking or phone number needed.

No, with the local post service it will be dropped in your mailbox at the door without your need to stay home or sign for it. Just like any other 'normal' post.

hey can i ask, what is considered risky amounts is it a dollar amount or the size of the package? If things can fit in one of the USPS prioirty envelopes, we are pretty much flying under the radar right? is it like frequent packages, frequent checking tracking numbers, ect what causes people to get flagged or caught up
I only ship with envelopes and not with packages or tracked orders so I can only speak from my experience.
Yes whatever fits in an normal sized business envelope and doesn't look thick should pass without any issue. If it's domestic than I also use bubblewrap envelopes to fit in more and you can't feel it from the outside. But bubblewrap envelopes raises flags when used outside of the country.
