What the point of these super encrypted devices when it comes LE, when they sieze ur pixel phone with graphene os n the only u have on it is signal, threema or telegram. what the point? they obviously know its a trap phone. What we should be doing it disguising ur phone, to make it look normal. is there a way we can hide messager or info from Data extraction tools like celebrite. I dont think we should focus on encrypted everything behind super security and a password. but instead making it invisible to anyone who uses the phone who isnt you.

if the police have your phone in your hand you are already in trouble.

You wouldn't happen to be talking about recent arrests in Australia regarding encrypted phones?
absoluley I am, virtually no point of all this security hardening operating systems if the police just need to present you digital evidence access order for ur password or risk 5 years behind bars for refusal.
I think the precautions of graphene OS and the anom messagers is that they can't access your information by referring to who owns the servers. If they have your phone already you're fucked. It's more about the fact that you can use your phone and really the only way they can get you is if they get physical access to your phone before you wipe it out or throw it in a microwave and toss it in a blender.
Defences for the users:
1. Get many peopel using the secure systems so high-security doesn't stand-out.
2. Ensure the government can't force you to reveal a password due to civil liberties.
3. Don't store sensative data. Send self-erasing, encrypted messages, take a photo then send/upload then erase, don't store lots of sus photos in gallery, etc.
So, use your tech like Tails. Secure, encrypted messaging. But don't STORE sensative data. Thats basically what I've come to learn. Send a Signal message, self-erase 1 hour after being read, etc. So that, if access of obtained by forensic tools, warrants, supoenas etc, nothing is found on the device.

Where I'm from LE have special warrants where u are forced to give over ur password or unlock a device to be examine. refusual will lead to heafy fines n jail time. is there like a tails OS alternative for mobile?
Guess im tryna figure a way were even if police gain acesss to your phone, which you never know could happen... your house get raided phone get siezed. but if you could keep somehow keep all incriminating/sensitive info hidden. even through physcial accesss.
You can take apart your phone...or maybe use a microSD card to hold certain information and store that somewhere no one would look...it would be easier due to it being so small. That's two ways anyway.
