Bought some xans on escrow from what looked to be reputable seller who accepted order but then took down listing. I get if there's stock issues, but it's been radio silence from them. Should I extend af or dispute if they're not replying? And what's the odds on winning a dispute if I'm a first time buyer?
If the order is marked as Processed/Shipped, then chill and wait for your order to arrive. Vendor may be on vacation, may be busy for the next few days, whatever it may be its irreverent if your orders already in the mail system.
ditto. defo extend first. i understand as a first time buyer u can be anxious about the arrival of ur package. but give it time. extend until u cant anymore and if it hasnt arrived by then, u can dispute.
im a first time buyer too with an order that hasn't arrived yet. the vendor is from across seas and so therefore I have been patient. I have AF extended 1 time and contacted the vendor and they said it's in the mail by policy they dont have a tracking number. I see reviews where people got nothing, and I a few where the people were satisfied. I wish I had a mentor on doing this stuff properly because it's so easy to not only get bamboozled, there's the legality side of it as well.
Ive only been scammed 1 time in many yrs of this, and that was when I trusted a reputable vendor and finalized my order before they shipped it. They have no reason to ship the product if they already got paid. So despite seeing reviews like "AF with confidence, trusted vendor" dont ever do that. I was trying to be nice during a time when crypto prices were drastically fluctuating. Only buy from vendors that have a good reputation and tons of completed sales, starting as a noob. Dont ever get links from anywhere besides trusted sites like Daunt or tor taxi. Dont order more than 1 package at a time. Use your real name and addy that you use for other orders. Manually PGP your order message to vendor, DONT USE THE AUTO PGP feature some sites offer! If you follow these simple rules you wont get bamboozled. And if your not sure of something, ask here and someone will surely advise you.
