Is it still a bad idea to order from Germany?

Wrong question. The primary question is where you're ordering from. It's not Germany that has decided to become a "hot zone". Every coutry and their customs decide shipments from which countries are seen as "hot".

That's what I always thought! People say Netherlands and Germany are hot zones but for my country I don't think so. I do think Netherlands may have severe export controls though so I do avoid them, but the other countries I've had issue with are the UK and Sweden and the UK I think may just be a vendor thing

Netherlands do not have any severe export controls, at all. It's just considered a hot spot by most other countries because lots of drugs are manufactured and distributed from there.

Thanks! I've had some poor luck with shipments from them. One was my (our) bad where we ordered from a private courier and it got caught in the net in NL. And then one came through and one didn't from there, which seemed to be poor odds. But I don't think my country has any issues with them so thanks for confirming! I don't think my country does that for any other countries actually so I was always confused when people said that. Thanks for the information!
