ALWAYS release escrow ASAP once the transaction is completed satisfactorily.
You should Finalize and release coins once you get your pack and it all looks right.
releasing sooner the later is always best, some vendors will blacklist you if you let the AF timer run out
lemme ask u something, if you got your pack and it didn't weight out to what it was supposed to would you contact the vendor 1st and let them know or just leave it be then when you review it say that ?

I would PM the vendor them first, to let them know. I'd wait to review only after a possible resolvement.
ya that's pretty much where I'm at with it. I wrote the dude a message & just told him the truth so I guess we'll see what happens.
now 1 thing lemme ask you too b4 I forget, when I messaged the vendor I had said somewhere in the message something like "ok we'll hey I'll release the ezcrow for yuh just so you'll be taken care of"
.... so now I'm wondering, if I do that will he still be able to write me back or anything or does releasing ezcrow basically mean its done/over/finnito ?

Tell me the full situation, sometimes, it's good to hold onto the escrow, until everything is right.
If the vendor is well-established, many good reviews, and perhaps also posts on tforum, then maybe consider Finalizing, as a gesture to establish trust.
Or, the vendor might just keep your coin, and ignore you.
How much are you missing, short etc? Does it look accidental etc?
