Yep, that's what I figured. Just gotta wait and be patient, and assume they've done everything right on their end.
You're too early to start asking the vendor for a quick check of the tracking. I've done this game for a long time, and from time to time-when USPS isn't at their best-they can take upwards of 10-12 days for delivery. I can say for sure right now they are running behind schedule-so I'd say wait until you're at day 9 or 10 before messaging the vendor. Just remember to extend auto-finalize on the order and wait it out. Don't worry I doubt your order was stolen by the mailman.
Read their bio, and see when they say they send tracking (if they do) and just ask for tracking and say you havent received product. I once waited like 35 days from time of ordering for a vendor to reship a pack that got lost. just be let it take its course and dispute if AF timer is gonna run out and there has been no responce from vendor.
Yeah USPS hasn't been 100% on their game, latley. The last pack I ordered sat at my main distrobution center for a day, and then ended up four states over. Luckily they realized their mistake and it ended up turning around and coming back home. I'll give it some more time for this one. I appreciate the advice.
I have Informed Delivery, so I'm keeping an eye out on it that way. I'll just keep an eye out on ID and reach out in another week or so if I still haven't seen any movement.
yeah do that if they do not have something in their bio about asking for tracking.
Extend escrow timer once then if it gets close to running out message the vendor and dispute the order.
I did FE for this order--first time doing it. They did mention in their About(something I should've read before)that a buyer should reach out if the order hasn't been received after 8 days. They seem to have good intentions and genuinely want to make good on any discrepencies, so I will just trust the process and leave well enough alone.
