We as a privacy community must resist DigitalID/Age Verification/ID Verification/VPN Bans.
We must Email, Call, And Mail Letters to our politions, to REJECT and RESIST and DENY, any DigitalID/Age Verification/ID Verification/VPN Bans.
I sent some emails saying how (you can use these in your messages):
1. ID/Age/Biometric Verification is unconstitutional, as our right to privacy, ensures we should be able to use the internet without any ID-verification.
2. ID-verification, is revealing too much personal information, making our data more easily exposed to hackers.
3. We have a right to autonomy, meaning that we should be able to use the internet, without verifying anything.
4. We are free human beings, not slaves to the government, and have a right to use the internet anonymously. (Straight up.)
5. Governments are occupied by some criminals and abusers, thus we have a right to protect ourself from the criminal government, by using the internet anonymously, to prevent identification, and thus resoluting abuse from retaliating government criminals.
Fight for freedom! Deny unconstitutional directives! Stay Anonymous! Don''t give up, fight back!
Stay Free! Stay Anony!

Fully agree with how important it is, but it's clear that the "representatives" who will codify this into law (and they almost certainly will) are not going to listen to the people. Electoral means feel like a lost cause, though I won't stop anyone from trying.
On top of all that, we need to collect, document, and distribute anonymizing software and techniques wherever we can. Instead of trying to ask the government to allow us privacy, we need to spread privacy like a virus through existing means, from unions to community gardens.

They certainly value the opinions of the people who pay them more than some dude who emailed them. You cannot solve this without taking concrete actions.
edit: If there is anything hackers can do, you can try to expose their dirty dealings, but good luck if you are gonna try doing that.

Has this worked in the years that people have been trying to talk to government representatives? Sometimes it works but then a new law will be passed months later when people are tired.
These things will happen without your agreement anyways. Governments spy on each other and on their own people it is fact. The problem that has always exist is that no one is building. If the world is using only few VPN or few safe operating systems, this makes it easier for governments to target those companies. If there are hundreds, or thousands of people running these things, then it becomes a problem they are only able to go after so many.
If you want to fight, you run tor nodes, you make communities, you help others access the internet even with restriction.
