why does my router blink when im not online? turned off all devices and the activity light is still going crazy. neighbor leeching wifi or is the firmware compromised? thinking of buying a glitched router.
probably ur neighbour or something - that happened to a friend of mine, turns out the neighbour just couldnt be bothered to get a new router
Routers often blink even if nothing is connected. They broadcast beacons (every 100 ms), write to logs, and sometimes check for firmware updates or other maintenance tasks.
To check if a neighbor is connected, log into the router and review the list of connected devices. (Hopefully you've already changed your router admin password?)
