I was thinking today about what is happening in nepal and the rest of the world, and i think it is insane that the only way to use the internet as a "normal" citizen is to engage in the mass surveilance capitalism, and the effort required to just have basic privacy is 100x the effort it takes to be spied upon. How can we create projects or maybe new OS/ways to access tor? For example I think there is a large market of people who support palestine who have been 'boycotting' buisnesses and would love to ditch microsoft or apple (since both have buisness relationships with israel), and they would be gaining privacy benefits, but it is too much friction in switching your life from apple to tails etc. I want to create some linux distro (nothing crazy revolutinary) that markets itself in the space, fully free oss etc, which is like tails in the iptables routing where all traffifc goes thru tor (except stuff that will break, udp and other stuff like zoom and discord cuz of realtime i think, this can go thru a vpn, but user knows what apps have what levels of privacy, lik qubes but less compartmentalization, just two layers), but has KDE and is based on fedora so it is easy for people to migrate from word to libreoffice by having both available and informing them of alternatives.
tldr; how can we make linux/tor/privacy in general less technicaly demanding for the everyday user.
any feedback on my idea slop spam would be appreciated, ill probably start a clean install of fedora tn and figure out how to get the dual tor/vpn iptables going, im pretty new to linux and this stuff in general.

But should lazy people also not be entitled to privacy. its insane to me that the default option for using technology nowadays is "consent to surveillance" so you can use our shitty bloatware. Is there really no option for them?
Do u think spending 30 minutes to setup tor related stuff that hard ? if they install anonsurf everything they have to do is few clicks, but in recent days many governments are fingering too much on censorship which is super wiered
This makes sense to me. Modern technological comforts are too easy to get and too "hard" to live without that people are okay with ignorance. Is there any argument for willingly staying "un-private" and living a double/triple/more life? Like having dn identities to not connect your actions together, or even using the smart services in containerized environments like whonix or others? or is that not enough, do we need to fully detach to be free
