It's horrendous and it confirms that we are heading towards a digital full-dystopia (because we are already partially into one). The ones who don't care are brainwashed by the system, and the ones who like it felt for the nazi-type propaganda.

I also think it is a dangerous direction we are heading in. If we don't fight against it now, it will only get worse until the point where there's no turning back.

We are already in a bad spot, I can only see the situation change for the absolute worse.

What is concerning is the face data being pawned over to AI companies to train the next generation of AI activated surveillance cameras.

We need deniable tools, P2P based apps for meetings.

I do for sure. If they can do it, my own government will consider rolling out something similar at some point. I gave up on using Tor a while ago, but after hearing the news I reconsidered it.

Nope. All darknets we have are just options to retreat to, but eventually the authorities will figure out how to shut them down.
