There are multiple privacy communities spread on the clearweb like on forums, tforum, imageboards etc.
I am thinking about, if we shouldn't try to convince these people to come over here, because from a privacy perspective, this here is the best place. I think we should try to shill this place a little more and bring new users in. The reason why I became aware of tforum, was because somebody mentioned it on r/privacy. I think it is deeply ironic, that privacy minded people are using places like tforum, when there is a private alternative available. Most people are not aware of this place and this is why we need to help them.

tforum can stay tforum. I'm sure there's some good ones there but let them stay in their cesspit.
"Be the change you want to see!"
I suspect this will be your last post here in this sub.

I agree, I don't think the goal is to bring EVERYBODY here. But I'm talking about like minded people, who don't know this place exists.
I don't believe in elitarism. I will try to convince other privacy minded people to come here, instead of using tforum, 4chan, forums etc. More and more privacy concious people are looking for an alternative. Especially in our current times with the increasing dissolution of privacy.
From all platforms I have seeb so far, I think tforum is the most promising one. It is very easy to use and familiar. At the same time, it is very privacy respecting. This is why I think, this site will grow in the upcoming months.
