Use proton mail, they never asked me for personal info and theyre easy to sign in to on Tor, heck theres an onion mirror

It depends on luck when registering via Tor if Proton will ask for personal info. Sometimes you'll get lucky and they'll just have you do their normal captcha, other times they'll prevent you from registering unless you give them a phone number or credit card. You can usually just get a new circuit and try again until they just ask for a captcha, but it might not always work.

To answer OP's question, no email service is secure. You should always assume your email server, and or their web client, is compromised. This includes ProtonMail.
